Personally I don’t like a situation with the “real” environment. It’s depressive. Such things as a climate change, a loss of habitats, a depletion of the ozone layer and resources. It’s sad to even think about it! And probably that’s why so few people are really want to care about the environment. Every person has their own special problems. So… I am going to tell you about the project which I was lucky to be stumbled across couple months ago.
The situation in the Arctic is dire. While Earth as a whole is experiencing strong global warming, warming in the Arctic is taking place even more rapidly. Accelerated warming in the Arctic threatens to destabilize sediments containing methane in the form of hydrates and free gas at the Arctic Ocean seafloor, in a vicious spiral triggering further methane releases and escalating into runaway global warming.
Each green line of action has to be implemented in parallel, i.e. no line of action should wait for another, nor should action on one line be used as an excuse to delay action on another line. Where lines of action are grouped together in three parts, numbers merely show relationships with the kinds of warming pictured at the top of the image.
